Questions on this page:
- Can we see who’s downloaded our games?
- Who owns the assets?
- Can someone share my games to someone outside of the Open Exchange group?
- How long is a download link available for when an e-mail link is sent?
Can we see who’s downloaded our games?
We audit all of our downloads and have access to them on our internal systems. We’re able to provide reports by requesting them through firstname.lastname@example.org. In the future, you’ll be able to access similar reports directly through Vault.
Who owns the assets?
Assets are owned by the organization that uploads the file (normally assumed to be the shooter). Only owners of an asset can alter meta-data, share or delete assets. All Exchange assets are available for download within the Open Exchange Co-Op.
Can someone share my games to someone outside of the Open Exchange group?
No, our users are not able to share files they don’t own to users outside of Vault. Both the Share to Vault and Send to E-Mail features are only available to the owner of a file. If you’re shared the file you’re unable to send it through Vault or an e-mail link.
How long is a download link available for when an e-mail link is sent?
The download link is available for 24 hours. Once that time expires the link is invalid and it must be sent again for someone to gain access.
